Allen Ray Thompson Homicide
January 02, 1970

STATUS: OPEN
  Nearly 50 years ago, then 16 year old Allen Ray Thompson, was murdered in Kansas City, Missouri.  His was the first homicide of 1970 occurring on January 2nd of that year.  The homicide took place in the driveway of the home in the 3700 block of Forrest Avenue. 
 
  The picture shows Mr. Thompson at age 15 wearing his ROTC uniform as a Student at Westport High School. 
 
  Due to time, the case has gone cold and information is needed to assist detectives in re-opening the case.  Very little evidence from the incident remains so the family is relying on the public to come forward with information.
